Twelve Winners
In creating this competition IDNF offers young designers the opportunity to learn about production values and network with manufacturers and established design professionals. At the same time a valuable service is provided to the manufacturer, through the introduction of some very creative innovations.
In the words of the competition sponsor, Mr. Katsuhiko Hasegawa, Gifu Seki Cutlery Industry Association Chairman, "We received many interesting ideas and concepts and I was impressed with all the efforts of our many applicants. I feel lucky to have worked with IDNF, David McFadden, Yoshiko Ebihara, and the jurors on the panel."
